Scouts

The Scout section at 7th Malden has a young and enthusiastic leadership team. We are currently running joint meetings with 2nd Norbiton Scout Troop and together we do a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities. Some of the activities include air rifle shooting, problem solving, orienteering and climbing. Our Scouts take part in district and county competitions, giving them the chance to represent 7th Malden. Our Patrol Leader Council is involved in planning the activities and outings we undertake and run them where possible. We run an annual Summer Camp, which is usually one to two weeks long, and involves lots of activities and learning. Scouts work towards badges including the Chief Scout's Gold Award, Challenge Badges, and Activity Badges.

The Scout Troop is open to boys and girls aged from 10 1/2 to 14 1/2 years old. We meet on Friday evenings for two hours.

Scouts make the Scout Promise and obey the Scout Law.
